Tatiana Gerasimenok — "sancti888" for performers and performing audience (2021)
World Premiere, September 9th, 2021 at ZiMMT Leipzig & Künstlerstadt Kalbe, Germany Written for Michiko Saiki & Frauke Aulbert DARK WEB A collaborative project by Michiko Saiki and Frauke Aulbert. «In this performance, the audience will witness different states of human emotions and the lack thereof. Despair and hopes, from emancipation of female expression in the Romantic era to futuristic utopias of reproduction – a wide range of themes are interwoven and told in a non-linear narrative. These partly autobiographic experiences are presented from a female perspective. In addition to the performers’ own works, there will be works by young composers such as Tatiana Gerasimenok (commissioned work), Sarah Nemtsov, Beste Özçelebi and Jue Wang as well as an arrangement of a song by Fanny Hensel/Mendelssohn. The music is combined with electronics and video as well as the human body as an instrument.» This project was generously supported by Fonds Darstellende Künste with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media. "Why do I wake up when it’s so nice to sleep?" — I hope you can say that at your funeral as well. #2 "I jerk off looking at myself in the mirror." — And I’m sitting on the toilet with my ass… I mean, is there another option?? #3 I love deep conversations, like yes share your soul with me. "Really deep?" — Small talk is bad talk, you know. #4 "Today I realized that I love you so much" — I’m on my way 🫡 #5 "This month I’m doing a challenge called turn things upside down" — Turn them twice then. #6 "I cook so good, it makes a girl's panties fall off!" — Are they shitting themselves that hard? #7 "Overthinking is such a silent killer." — Death by intelligence is very rare and exquisite. #8 — Shitting yourself is the best compliment you can give a chef. "They compliment me in bed" (#6) #9 "Эмбер Херд сделала комплимент Джонни горкой или просто точкой? 🤣😅" — Просто точкой в их отношениях . #10 "how to express emotions infront of people without feeling terribly ashamed of yourself" — As well as shitting at the table while trying not to make obscene noises. #11 "If my door squeaks, can I use vaginal lubricant for it?" — Sure, and since your wife has no chance of getting wet, use a store-bought one. #12 "Что значит фраза: моя пизда - моя кормилица" — Это значит, что женщина очень гибкая: или физически, или морально. #13 "“Focus in the present”… everything is happening at the same time" — 🫣🫠😵💫 #14 "Is it good to be a perfectionist?" — Perfection is predictability and monotony. Imperfection is freedom and constant change. Being a perfectionist is more reliable, even though we are living organisms and constant change is our natural state. Different tasks require different tools. #15 "what did you eat today?" — Scrambled eggs for breakfast from the good dancer Mathis. #16 "What is your inspiration for your ritual music? Is it based on any direct experiences?" — In my youth I was inspired by near-death experiences, about which I wrote a book, Ten Questions for the Dying Body. I am inspired by powerful states when one is facing death and there is some kind of shift in inner attitudes and coordinates, an occult insight. My ritual music is about composing a sequence of actions to achieve a certain mental state, focus and peace of mind through repetition and various tools. #17 "What's the most effective way to organize a strike at an Amazon warehouse?" — To learn the full range of methods available, purchase our paid course using promo code QUIT10. #18 "i thought i was introverted turns out i was just a loser 😣" — What do you mean, "was"? #19 "Your music is as shitty as you are." — To prove it, 80% of my responses here are about shit.
